Deb's right, Now you're in my playground if your talking mega-threads. I make my own bobbins for heavy threads, and I have one from Griffin with a bolt-clutch to tighten the spool. I've used 1000yd spools of dental floss for 25 years+ for packing/stacking hair, and I use up to 50lb test spun gel lines for 'special' uses, and I have broken it while pulling. Spun gel does have a tendency to cut hair, but learning a few techniques can avoid most of that.
