I was talking to one of the guys at my club last night and he made his own tying box, but was after something with legs. I suggested he head to the art store to look at fold-up painters easels. They have leg, storage room, easily portable and don't have to cost the end of the world. Also, they can be chucked in the car and taken on trips with a min. of effort.
