The Jobbers (at the pump) a friend of mine owns a small country store and he makes 1.5 CENTS per gallon Profit.. The Big Oil companies, on the other hand, are making ALL TIME high profits.... for each  dollar the barrel goes up, it is  usually equates (at least here in the US) to a nickel per gallon increase at the pumps...Which is about right, cause when it jumped from all time high a few weeks ago at $65 a barrel, to $70, gas went up about 50 cents a gallon..(at the pump).Chuck

Wonder if anyone has the figures? I am of the understanding that the cost per barrel of crude to manufacture is $4.00 per barrel? Someone is making a high % of profit if this is true.
