Rick,

If the secret stream was down a foot (a lot for that stream), you should have headed upstream to #4- (the sawmill) where there is a huge hole or #3- (the bridge) Byard's pool.

Yep, them Breeches trout are pounded but forget where a bunch of them school up as those are really fished hard.  You either have to cross over and walk downstream a ways or go in at the playhouse.  Now that section is crowded because of the springs cooling the water but there are miles of stream with springs all over that creek.

Next time I'll guide you and we'll cover some serious water very few folks ever fish.  ;-)

Since I can come again, we will have to make sure we can get out.
CAught my first smallmout ever, below the dam n the river near the cabin.

The secret stream had anglers on it, so I ended up fishing about 200 years behinds some other folks.  The said the water was down about a foot.  Did get some fish out of the holes with a PTN.

Went to the Yellow Breeches one day.  Spent about three hours there.  Theose fish are educated.  Did get nine of them to hit.  Used a paraloop black gant at the edges of leafdebrie that was caught along the edge of the stream.  Never got any of the fish that were out in the stream.

I loved all of the bologna.  Hard to pick a favorite.
