Emails on books got me to thinking. I picked up the neatest book when I was
in Traverse City at the Troutsman. It's called Trout Flies for the Michigan
Emergence Schedule. It's a spiral bound flip chart that has a schedule by
month of the hatches in Michigan, their timing and the recipes to match
them. It is a great reference book. I'm thinking this is just a local
publication though and that's too bad because this is really well done.
Anyone up in Michigan or even nearby should grab this. I've taken it into
my trout classes to show them.
