It obviously wouldn't have to be that many. I originally thought about doing
it with only a handful of people and steadily working through the list. Ie
start on nymphs and do one pattern a week. If we are talking at only 5
people getting involved, it means 1/2 hour tying. Miss one week, make it up
another. That way, If someone was only interested in nymphs or damsels, it
would only be a relatively short term commitment with lots of variation, not
just 20 of the same fly. I think it would be lots of fun. Anyone out there
with a sense of adventure??

Subject: [VFB] Was Caveats, etc. Murf, Now REUVEN'S MEGA MEGA SWAP

Reuven, If I read your post correctly that would mean10 people tying
10 flies X 175 patterns = 1,750
total flies to tie. Most of us on this list balk at getting into swaps
with more than 25 flies to tie, exception being
Byard's sometimes annual Caddis Swap which has 100 tiers, tying 100
flies. On my swaps, I usually give 2 1/2 - 3
months just to tie 20 +- flies. I doubt you're going to get anybody to
participate.
