Jerry,
When you get a chance, would you do me a favor and pass along Aaron Adams' contact info please? The last time I saw Aaron was shortly after we fished with him in St. Croix and he was headed through Maryland on his northern journey to the University. Dr. Adams and I fished a small creek within 30 miles or so of my house and he proceeded to put me in my place. You see, Aaron hadn't cast anything lighter than a 12' 10 wt since his time as fisheries biologist in St. Croix and I figured the 3wt he was casting would give him trouble. Not so, the boy is gifted. His lovely wife joined Lina, Aaron & I for dinner in Fredericksted but that is the last I heard of her. Every so often someone mentions getting together with Aaron or such but I don't know if he has kids now, quite what he's up to and suppose he's in Florida per your post.
Now, if you do that, I'll turn you on to Aaron's Leatherback Turtle Fly pattern. If he claims not to remember how they are tied, tell him he doesn't know Jack...Crevalle...or remeber the Greenpeace brigade from our private beach tour. Lina and I remember bottlenose mating at 45s just off the beach, picking up hatching leatherbacks which wandered into the woods instead of towards the surf, seeing plenty of predators but not getting any proof. I did have a good fight with one Jack which Aaron disected to check for turtles with several Greenpeaceniks gathered around. One gal had a PETA pin and I wonder how she felt as the fish entrails were being ripped out by Aaron to seek signs of turtle.

But Janet, your box had to be hand-squeezed to fit in the mail slot at zip code 21771 so it left with the 2nd group. I liked the story about your fly pattern being the first order you got so it fit perfectly.
While I'm on the ladies and haven't read but a few of my emails, has anyone heard from Ginger since the storm yesterday? How about Jerry G.?
Murf,
We are fine in Central Florida. A lot of wind and rain, but nothing like south Florida got.
I contacted Aaron Adams and Ken Staples by cell phone. They got Hammered with some property
damage. No phone, electricity or water. But they are OK. Have tried calling Ginger at home and at
work. I assume the phones are out. I do not have her cell phone. My guess is she is OK but
pretty damn inconvenienced.
Just the price we pay for living where you can fish 12 months a year J
Thanks for your concern.
