Glenn: Yeah, that is what I'm afraid of next Spring
and Summer.. First cpl times I wore it, it was in the low 80's here and I was
sweating BAD...(and the vest is 100% cotton) Before I got it, I had
been using the camper pants, that have two HUGE pockets in front, then the
normal front pockets, back pockets and a cpl little pockets.. Then I had a
two compartment Fanny pack, and it served me well.. But I LOVE the idea of
just grabbing my rod, and the vest and getting in the car.... I bet next Summer,
I'll leave the vest at home most days, or find one of those NASCAR "cool suits"
on ebay LOL.....Chuck

Subject: Re: [VFB] Vest Question??? Use a
side pack...
Wood River ,If they are still in
business ,is a side pack that can hold more flies than any vest I own, For
over twenty years I never had to wear a vest and I don't suffer by the
heat of wearing an extra garment ,no more neck or shoulder pain and when I'm
waiting for the hatch it makes a great head rest. They stay dry even in the
worst rain or the bottom half was in the water of course they are adjustable
and I can adjust them as far as I dare wade and I have a
reputation, those who know me and experience fishing with me ,know it
will be crazy to follow me. I usually wear the pack to my back side
to keep it out of the way.......Glenn Overton

Question???
way to go Chuck!! I just stuck it in "favorites" for a little
winter reading. I forgot to mention that after "putting it on and
loading it", that if you feel at the end of the day/nite, your neck and
shoulders are aching, then there's too much in it!! Happened to me a
few times...
