Allan is right. The two battery types get very hot. I have some good friends who work in Surgery and they get them for me when I need one. Like Allan I have this tendency to burn myself very often. They are totally disposable although I suppose you could open the case and replace the batteries. I would not recomend that. As allan says see Byard.....
