I don't do anything yet!! I thought that to get the smoothest (and cleanest!) finish, a small spray bottle of acetone would allow it to be done easier, without contacting the substance or fly itself.
Naw. You're just touching the floss with a drop of acetone. And as the acetone droplet dries out, everything comes out nice and smooth.
Don't overcomplicate it. You'll start making us think you're a bloody engineer or something rqually bad. :-)
