Birdie; other than being the Itchen, 35 pounds seems pretty steep for
grayling. I think I'd look for some stretches of the Kennett that are
far less dear at this season. Don't forget to carry a few Killer Bugs
next time; my good friend John Roberts swears by them for chalk stream
grayling.
