Do you have any idea what that fly would look like after being hit by a gar. I am sure it works great, but it is a lot of work for ONE FISH PER FLY. Gar tear up a fly worse than bluefish or Spanish mackerel. If you want more of a slider head than I would go with a foam head trailed by the pantyhose jg
