Fluff your feathers all you want, Rodney! What a great show. Sounds like you had a fantastic time. Now, don't get so busy with all your orders you forget all about us and the swaps you're in. <VBG> We gotta see your flies!!!

I am the proud owner of a Red & Black Ringneck , and I can let the Jimmy D Steelhead Swappers know that they're all in for a treat!

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Cheers!
Monte

Hey all,
I hope you all don't mind me fluffing my feathers here, but I'm still
overwhelmed by the response I had this past weekend... You see my wife and
I belong to a wonderful group here in New Mexico called the "Route 66 -
Society of the Arts Guild", which includes crafters and artists of
extraordinary capabilities, (painters, sculperers, jewelry makers, beaders
and Native American crafters)... We had an "Art Show" that began last
Friday evening and lasted through all day Saturday at the "Isletta Casino -
Show Room"... The "Arts and Crafts" that were displayed were beyond
description, some absolutely beautiful pieces of work... My wife and I both had a "booth", she showing all her beading and polymer clay products that
she's done, and was selling, and I had all my fly tying gear there with
just about every single fly I've every tied displayed... I was even asked
to do a "spot light fly tying demonstration" and couldn't believe the
response I had of people wanting to get into fly tying classes... I also had both my "large" shadow boxes displayed... One that has everyone's flys from the "2004 Christmas Swap", "Stonefly Swap", "Foam Swap" and the "Eagle
Scout Swap"... The other with all the "IOFF Swap" flys... You wouldn't
believe the "OOOOO's and AHHHHH's" you ALL got... It was fantastic, very overwhelming... Since I had my vise and tying gear there, I was tying up a few flys and sold over 70 flys... I even have a couple orders to fill for "sets", (from larva to adult), of Midges and Caddis flys... I also made a little display stand showing my "Santa's Slay Ride", "Red & Black Ringneck", "Caped Ringneck", "Ringneck Pumpkin", a variation of the "Spawning Kokanee" and a new fly I created called the "Black Lady"... What really surprised me was that I now have several "orders" to fill for "earrings" of a couple of
the above named flys... I couldn't believe it... It was an absolutely
wonderful show and I would like to extend a very large "THANK YOU" to
everyone here at VFB for all your help, instructions, comments and guidance
over the past couple years...

THANK YOU ALL...

Rodney...
