Original boxes???  Oh yeah, sure.  If I had not discarded the ones I did I'd have an extra carton sitting on my desk.  As it turned out last night, I took about a cubic foot of boxes and reduced them to 16% of that space.

Sadly, I have not the courage to throw away all those DaiRiki boxes that interlock so am sure they will come in handy for other small items on my tying bench.  Small is good when you want room to tie or plan to travel.

Easy Murf ! Just melt the lot down, extrude your own wire from the resultant mess and then make your own hooks to any spec you care to invent.
Easy really ! LOL
Alternatively you could put all one size in one ox etc etc and keep them in the original packages. Then if you need a wet 10 long shank it will be in that box someplace
Or you could just not worry aboutit and use the first hook that comes to hand...........

I know this is an oldie but I am trying to sort out thousands of hooks and my hook gauge isn't working per the bend/gap/shank ratios.  Yes, I know we now have wide gap(e) and all the combinations but how do you sort into a mere 80 bins over 100 variations unless they are distinctively different?  What do I do when a #10 standard dry from company X is the same as a #12 from company Y and both companies are considered respectable?

Then there is z X short versus w X long plus wire guage and so many variations that I am lost on just the basics.  Do I take an old standby like Mustand to determine my standard or go the other way around the globe?

Let's see... add barbless and you double the variation, wet versus nymph can equal the same hook except... and we bend them to get scud, stonefly, swimming nymph....   Arghhhhh!  Advice... ANYBODY!
