I enjoy Fly Tyer. I am not to fond of a lot of the other magazines because the feature article is always about the best kept secret from some state or province and the next time you go there to fish it has become over populated with anglers.Fly fishing is becoming a sport fueled by commerce I expect to see the Nike swoop on a pair of wading boots labled Air Wulff's. Just seems most magazines are making the sport to commercialized.

What are you favourite magazines and why??

I can't get enough of flytyer, when I can get it, mainly for the no-nonsense tying. I also camp out every month by the newsagency for Fly Fishing and Fly
Tying. Although a fair few of the articles aren't really related to local
conditions, it is still packed with some nice patterns(first thing to look
for of course- kind of like a Playboy centrefold!) and bits and pieces.
Finally, we come to an Australian quarterly called FlyLife. It is great with the pics and interesting 'daydream' articles (read them, close eyes, imagine
bonefishing New Caledonia,........) but doesn't have really any technical
aspects, just the daydreaming 'One Day I'll Fidsh There As Well" stories
(more important???)

What about you??
