LOL, thanks, but the 'DonO' would have to have multiple uses, one for each
personality, wouldn't it?

Speaking of multiple uses, following are the different things I have for
tying in different places away from my tying room:

Tying 'kits':

~Two pre-made tying stations, one small with a section below, one large
table-top model, like Jimi's station (Orvis model- a gift)
~One large hard wood travelling fly box, flip lid, compartments, plastic
lids in top.
~One small soft-side suitcase with wheels and pull-out handle.
~Assorted duffle-bags and tupperware containers

Variations of remote destinations & tying kits for them:

~closest- tying in my office next to my fly room- I use the large table-top
model and tupperware bins
~next closest- the deck out back- the small table-topper with tupperware
bins
~Next- tying kit for fishing trips by truck or truck and trailer- the large
wood tying box and duffle-bags
-I may bring the large table-top and a folding table if I'm taking
the trailer.
~Fly shows that I drive to- depending on how much space I get and how far a
walk it is to the facility:
-the hard box and the Baits Hotel on a dolly, with duffle bags
strapped on.
-Multiple boxes (on dollies) with odds and ends for show and tell-
if the tying table is big enough.
-For shows with long walks and a short session, I use the 'flying'
set-up below.
~Tying shows that I have to fly to:
-the small rolling suitcase with the Baits Hotel over the handle, no
tying station
~Fishing trips that I fly to- if I bring tying gear, I'll pack it in one of
my suitcases.

For the types of tying, fishing, and shows that I do, there is no 'one
set-up fits all' for me. It's a real chore before and after each trip to
load up and unload the materials that I think I'll need for each venue.

Those who have been in my tying room will understand how hard it is for me
to even find all of what I need for a trip. It's a good thing I always have
Buggs, Dr. D, and Veronica to help me out.
