ABDOMEN: A part of the fly that looks proportinal when tying it, but will
tell you wrong when you're about to start on the neat head you had planned.

BARBLESS HOOK: A special kind of hook often used as an excuse for "losing
the giant JUST when I was reaching for my net".

CLOSED CELL FOAM: A modern type of fly-tying material. It lets any tier,
experienced as well as beginner, create cool looking, fish catching and
unsinkable flies. By the Brittish anglers also referred as "The Ultimate
Disgrace".

DEER HAIR: Thick hairs often used for spinning. Together with marabou, the
most common reason for the fly-tyer living alone.

EZ DUB: Yarn-like material that makes a wrapped body look dubbed. Respected
fly-tyers prefer to write it as the ingredient rather than pronouncing it.

FLY: Fish appealing device that doesn't neccessary have to imitate a fly. It
can also imitate other animals, both aquatic and terrestrial. But it doesn't
have to imitate anything living at all.

GRAY: A color used for many different tying threads. Similar colors are
Light Gray and Dark Gray.

HEAD CEMENT: Sticky mixture with an odor that can make fly-tying a little
more relaxing and addictive than one had ever expected.

IOFF: A group of people that, out of fear of losing their pride, stepped
aside before the normal people pushed them out... and by giving themselves
titles, they now think of themselves as leaders.

JESTER: Infectious little creature, unwished for and not to be trusted.
Often working in collusion with other bug(g)s.

KEVLAR THREAD: A very strong fly-tying thread that cuts both materials and
fingers. Also used by the police when sewing bullet proof outfits.

LESSON: A thing you quickly learn when you put an open bead dispenser close
to the edge of your tying-bench.

MONOFILAMENT: A thread that differs from polyfilament in such way that a
strand of monofilament has only one strand of monofilament, while a strand
of polyfilament has several strands of monofilament beside or twisted around
eachother... which makes polyfilament the best solution for a monofilament
user with a limited budget.

NECK PAINS: Fly-tying disorder that you don't have to wait for very long
when sitting in front of the vise 12 hrs a day.
