Hello,

I hope everyone is doing well. It is nice to be back on the list seeing
the wonderful flow of information. I took a year off, trolling the big
lakes here in NH with hardware and tandem streamers for salmon and lake
trout. In fact, I didn't take out the fly rod once this year UGH!!
But now I am back - teaching the Laconia Adult Education's program - FLY
TYING FOR FISHERMAN class. 20 hours of fly tying (10 weeks for 2 hours
on Monday nights from 1/23 through 4/3) for just $90 which includes
materials - is quite a deal. Sorry about the plug.... (contact me
offline if you are interested..)

I just visited Stone River Outfitters about 4 days ago. They were still
moving in. They have quite a focus in clothing and the space I saw for
materials was a little meager, but still very nice. We will miss
Hunter's. In fact, WS Hunters has moved into Concord, NH and Mike S.
has a very nice store there. He might be taking up the gap that will
be lost by Hunter's - I will send an update.

Ever since I ordered some premo stuff from Hunters a year ago, it was
apparent to me that you MUST select the pieces yourself or you will not
be too happy with it. With that said, there has been only one supplier
where I have always been happy with when buying material's online -
that's Line's End.

I couldn't resist chiming in since I have just been to see the old
Hunter's Angling inventory...

Thanks,
Chris Chapman
