Mountain Home, Arkansas near the famous White River, where the US record brown was caught.  It's a fly tying convention extraordinaire!  Lots of us VFB'ers make the annual pilgrimage.  In order to tie, you need to ask Tony for an application/invitation. I missed last year, but year before last I was among the 100 + tyers from across the US and Rene from Cologne, Germany who tied.  Great time.  Get to meet lots of neat folks and chance to meet some people you know through the VFB, but have never met face-to-face.  I'm sure that TONY will add a bunch to what I've just written.

Cheers !  Hope to see you there.

OK, please excuse my ignorance, but what is this "Sowbug" everyone talks about every year. I gather that it is some kind of show that is obviously not held anywhere near Maryland or directions north.
