Amen to that Jerry. Even my original tying teacher, who fishes with us sometimes in Erie for steel head, said; "You know David, Richard ties better flys than I do now" a couple of years ago as we tied in the hotel room. Dances' abilities to tie beautiful flys increased so greatly from year to year that it's no wonder he's invited to so many shows. If you ever see him at a show, take time to watch his meticulous attention to detail on some very delicate and attractive flys.
Of course, if you ever fish with him you'll quickly find out where he got his nickname. He even taught me how at the Yellow Breeches one year. "Murf, it's too deep, your going to fall in....SPLASH!" How many fly boxes did I have to dry out that day?

Sorry you didnt have better fishing. :-(
As far as the UK? Yes, most odd. Right now my focus is on clearing the time/money for Fly Fair and attaching a fishing trip thereto! (Slovenia perhaps? :-) Never say never, but I doubt Ill go to the UK shows. There are just too many other fine shows, many of which have fishing opportunities.
