Thanks, Rodney and David! They're both good ideas - they both sound about right. I found a picture online, but no attached recipe. (The webpage with the picture is

My guess is it's a biot body with a "puff" of dubbing at the hook's head. Ideas/ suggestions? I think I'll register at the site in question just to send the poster a e-mail asking for the recipe...
