Chuck, A hook doesn't go into my vise unless it's barbless...  I always crimp down the barb prior to securing it in the vise...  So I guess it's fair to say I fish totally barbless...  I've never had any problems what-so-ever as far as loosing fish because of a barbless hook...  Now I've had hooks break or bend, but that's an animal of a different color...   Rodney..     ----- Original Message ----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: vfb@troutnet.com Sent: Friday, December 23, 2005 12:03 PM Subject: [VFB] Barbless Hooks Folks: It is COLD... Long as you keep the line tight yes, but don't you loose fish as soon as you get any slack in the line and the hook slips right back through the piercing it made????
