Bob

If you like send me your snail mail and I’ll send you some hooks and a strand of twisted gut.   I only ask that you send a small care package to Steve (my husband) of your favorite go to flies.  He claims that I neglect him.

Truth be known ….  I go fishing more often than he does and he doesn’t hand the flies back over that easily.  J

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

Regards,

Deb

Thanks Deb.  I am not worried about doing any thing vintage at this point.  I am looking to get a few hooks and learning to do the eye loops.  I am willing to swap some materials to get started.

Another thought on the eyeless hooks…..   Phil Castleman has some he has reproduced at Castle Arms but I wonder if Byard can order the Partridge cs10’s for you?   I’m not sure that he carries Partridge but one of his distributors may.   I think that’s the correct number.  If you’re not concerned with vintage hooks that isn’t a bad hook to start with.  If you want to go that route let me check the number for you before you order them so I can make sure they are the lighter hook not the heavy bulky one.
