Subject: [VFB] March Madness II - New Swap

Hey Gang!  Here's a NEW / OLD swap for you.  It's March Madness II.  I held MMI in 2001, and some of the guys in my Steelie Swap who were in MMI asked me to hold it again.  So, I'm glad to oblige.  I gave "first dubs" to the Swappers in the Steelie Swap, and already have 10 signed up to participate.  I told them I'd hold it open for them until Jan. 7 and then if not full, throw it open to the rest of you. Well, I'm tired of waiting, so I'm opening it up to you a day early.  There are 10 spots left, meaning you'll need to tie 20 flies.
                                                                        RULES
What are the RULES?  Really, there aren't any.  Tie 20 flies of your choice, any size hook, any materials, salt, bass, panfish, trout, salmon, pike, muskie, etc. etc.  ANYTHING goes. Use your imagination.  If you've always want to tie a wild and crazy fly, this is the swap for you.  Since there's only 10 spots left, I'll hold sign-up open until Jan. 14.  On that date, we'll go with what I have.  Deadline of flies to me is March 31, 2006, plenty of time to get your flies done.

Take a look at the list below of who has already signed up.  These guys are outstanding tyers, as evidenced by the flies they tied for the Steelie Swap.  Beginning with Jerry Goldsmith, several of those below participated in March Madness I.  They'll tell you that it was a BLAST!

Jimmy Moore
Jerry Goldsmith
Monte Smith
Rodney Barilleax
Joe Fusco, Sr.
Kevin Slater
Keith Passant
James Baxter
Iain Short
Mike Bernardoni

Don't delay, sign up today, reply and add your name to the bottom of the list.

Cheers!

JIMMY D
