I have struggled with making the body of the sowbug look right. I have recently tried something that I have thought about before. I used a piece of overbody (plastic) as usual but I also used a piece as an underbody(a little narrower). Now the legs stay flat and the look is much more pleasing to me. It looks more like the real sow or cress bug. Has anyone done this and if so is it more successful?
