Jean
I can't resist I have to take a stab at this one. :)
Bama = Chuck is from Alabama
Hick = If I translate this one for you... you gotta promise not to bring up
a certain GW Bush in your jokes with this term. :) Hick is a slang term
for some of our more "special" people from the south. Technically GW is
from Connecticut. ;)
Redneck = is a by product of spending too much time in the sun. Red Neck.
Tawk = I'm sure by now you understand tawk is the southern pronunciation of
talk.
Hoosier = a fine gentleman from Indiana
We use so much slang in our English but come on now.... you're going to
enjoy polishing up your English skills with us. :) I'm sure you will get
some more interesting translations from the guys but I'm sticking to these.
My spell check is having a great time with this email!
Regards,
Deb
