It can also be tied wet with a saddle hackle..........like a drowned beetle
or water boatman.I used it in Tasmania last week...actually did well with
it.

         One of the simplest and easiest ties I've seen on a nymph is
called a RED TAG.  Standard Nymph hook , red yarn tail, peacock body
and a small brown hackle collar.  I've seen it work w/short and long
shank hooks as well as tied tandem.
