That's really sad!  The trooper that pulled me over was actually a pretty

I think he shot and killed the officer that stopped him though.   So that’s
sad.

It’s a lazy Sunday morning and I’m tying some flies to fill a request.  I
have CNN on in the background, and they just aired a story about a suspect
from a rampage in Massachusetts turning up at a routine traffic stop in
Gassville, Arkansas.  Apparently he was chased through Mountain Home to
Norfork where he was shot.   Now Gassville’s a pretty small place with a
pretty good speed trap.  I know, because I got stopped there a few months
ago while on my way back to the Southern Council show from Roundhouse
Shoals!  Good to know that they’ve rounded up more than just my $’s…
