Yeah, I forgot My meds... I have a water proof bag that I carry My meds in,
cause that is the last thing you want to forget, or to get wet, Chuck

Subject: Re: [VFB] What do you take
fishing ??
A couple of diferent rod weights, flies, hat sunglasses,
mosguito repellent, sunblock, water, lunch and extra food (being diabetic,
I've got ot be prepared if the blood sugar gets too low), water. And
last but certainly not least, a pretty well stocked first aid kit. down
here in the gulf, if you get a cut, you need to treat it immediately.
Most people stock a bit of diluted bleach and some peroxide, waterproof spray
on type bandages and then regualr types of treatments. Big problem down
here is a bug known as Vibrio vulnificans in saltwater. Infections are
rare, but extremely serious and can quikcly cause death within a day (or loss
of a limb). Much bigger problem in the summer months. A good first
aid kit is a good idea anyway.
