Bruce,
I had a number of people cast my rod, it was one of
the first ones they made. They thought it was too slow.
It is a 4 WT two piece. I used a WF.4 line but it felt
like it would not load. Then went to a WF 5 Rio Line.
This seemed to overload the rod. Tried a WF 5 Canadian
line that Dorber carries, this felt about right.
Planned on staying with it till I made the trip to
Florida. Stopped to visit my friend and we cast the
rod wih a DT 4 Rio Slective Trout line. The rod came
to life. It does cast like bamboo and bamboo does best
on DT taper Lines.
Got one for my rod now. My friend in Flotida was so
impressed with the rod , he ordered a 4 wt 4 piece. He
will be at the Sowbug if you want to talk to him.
