Okay, I'll pretend there really is a 00 and 0 weight rod.  Now, isn't the key to have a 00 or 0 weight line so they do what they're supposed to.  Is such a line made?

My feeling is that these rods must be able to cast a line comparable so as not to put down the most skittish fish.  Even then, the shadow of the line comes into play more than the vibration of line hitting water possibly.  Isn't there a clear fly line?

I've never owned or cast a rod lighter than my 3 wt (which casts very easily) and am intrigued with such light rods and line.  Also, I often go up a line weight on certain of my rods under certain conditions but possibly I have become too exclusive of WF lines.

I saw Tony mention a DT being the perfect line for a particular rod.  How do each of you determine which line is best for each particular rod?  Does each need to be cast first?

I don't know what it means in real life terms, but Orvis makes a zero-weight
rod. I cast one at a show, and it was OK for a toy, but not what they
wanted for it $$$-wise.
