Rodney, I forget what that model looks like but assume it might be a waste to bring so far.  Maybe you can provide a link for me to peek?  I'd think Jeff could find us some suitable "iron" in a place like Mountain Home.  Need room to adjust height, air, door to add fuel, top space to collect smoke...  I use a combo gas grill/charcoal grill/smoker/turkey fryer unit by Cabela's at home.  It works but is not a true BBQ unit.  My friend in PA does pit beef professionally and his wife is head of house for the Lt. Gov (up from head chef).  They have a custom unit which is on a trailer and if only the distance was less...

Murf,
I have one of those "Little Chiefs"....  It's one of the small ones, but will that work???...  And I have a few bags of "Hickory" wood chips that go with it...  Used it several times to smoke fish...  If so I'll bring that along with me...  Would love to "assist" in the cooking, but I'm tying Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon...

Someone get hold of a real smoker grill and I'll head up the 24 hour vigil.  Need a source of good meat, thermometer, real charcoal, pre-soaked wood chunks, the basics.  I'll bring the rub, marinate and show you boys where my Momma is from (Georgia).  Will need tag team partners to monitor temperature, baste, turn, etc.  My recipe is perfect so don't even THINK of adding or changing anything.  Volunteers to assist?

If at all possible, somebody try to get Nick some real
BBQ while he's in the states. None of that Jersey BBQ
(anything that is cooked on a grill is BBQ in Jersey).
We can't have him going back to Sweden thinking that a
charred Ball Park Frank is BBQ.
