Have a commercial pilots, Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanic License. Designed and built a two place sport plane with folding wings in 1960, "The Tuholer". She is still flying in Utah. Was in aviation till 1988. Got back into full time flyfishing and tying 1989. Tied commercially for several years till I started making rods both graphite and bamboo. Other hobbies, wood working, wood carving, photography, had a color darkroom for ten years, making stringed instruments. Built three wood strip canoes.
