[VFB] Awesome Hair Minnow for Bluegills or Crappie

Attached here are a cpl patterns, one tied By Byard, and one by DonO. Can ya'll tell Me if you can tie these, in smaller sizes to use for bluegills and/or crappie????? Specially Crappie, cause it's coming up Spring, and a Minnow is the BEST bait there is around here for Crappie.. Instead of a size 1/0 2/0 etc, could I use the same recipe and just tie a #6 or #8 say????
