On DVD Mike? I have the book and it is brilliant. If the DVD/Video is half as good then it will be worth the money IMHO

I just picked up “Tying Flies the Paraloop Way” and am finding it very useful, I like the way these flies look, can’t wait to fish some of them this spring.

Subject: [VFB] Fly Tying Videos, question

Byard, forgive me, I'm going to have a purely fly tying related post!

Regarding fly tying videos (or books, web sites), preferably DVDs, I ask the many opinions of my fellow VFBers as to those they are most impressed with or those which have been most helpful.  I am mostly intested in those which reveal techniques, alternative methods, shortcuts, unusual or specialty techniques/methods.  Here is my meager library, less the coffee table books, of what hasn't been lent out for perpetuity;

1.      Fly Tying, The Angler's Art, with Dave Engerbreston and LeRoy Hyatt (1-4)

2.      Tying Western Trout Flies, Jack Dennis

3.      Tying and Fishing Attractors, Gary LaFontaine

4.      My Favorite Fishing Flies, Poul Jorgensen

5.      Fly Tying Basics, Jack Dennis (going to a deserving young tyer)

6.      Fly Tiers Benchside Reference (book) by Leeson & Schollmeyer

7.      Hatches II (book) by Caucci & Nastasi

As you can see, my film library is almost bare and lacking many worthy videos.  What videos do you consider impressive to you?  Thanks in advance to all.
