I have one of those bags that is attached to the stem of the vise, but I use it a little differently. If the vise and stand point to the right, then the bag points to the left. That way it's always out of the way of tying. When I snip waste material, I grab the big stuff and transfer it to the bag. The really little stuff still falls on the desktop like normal. ;)
I also find that a rechargeable hand vacuum is invaluable to have around the tying bench. The tying room is still a mess, anyway!! Wes Wada Bend, Oregon
