Let's see now. One fly rod. Naw, scratch that. Make it two. Two fly
reels. Might not be enough, make it four. Well hell, might as well
take four fly rods now. Extra line, yep. Gotta have extra fly line.
Checking my rods for line weight. OK - 2,3,4&5. That should take me
right up to steelie size. What about flies? Two boxes should be
enough. Better sort thru them just to be sure. Where's my hoppers?
Dangit, they're in another box. And my nymphs, another box. What the
hell, I'll just take all 25 of my fly boxes. But, wait, I'd better take
my streamside kit in case I see something on the water that I don't
have. Ahhhh, that'll do it, but wait !
Hon, can I borrow your new digital camera? What? I know I dumped mine
in the stream last time, that's why I wanna borrow yours. Can't, well
hell, guess I'll have to run down to the Walmart and get one of those
waterproof digitals. What? We don't have the money? I do, right in my
