I figured you over slept, I caught several fish on the Norfork before the
water rose and then blanked, got over to Rim Shoals and caught a few fish on
R&R, caddis pupa.

Hey all... Made it back home ok... Got in yesterday at about 11:30 in the
morning... Left Monday around 12:30 and drove straight through, but had to
stop about 30 miles East of Oklahoma City for a couple hours of sleep...
Bucked a tremendous headwind all the way till just about the Texas/New
Mexico border... By the time I got home, got the SUV unpacked, and took a
shower, I was absolutely beat... Went to bed and didn't get up till this
morning when I had to get up to go to work, in fact that's where I'm at
now... Got to do a 24 hour shift...
I absolutely enjoyed myself at the "Sowbug"... Thank you Tony, it was one
fantastic show... Everyone from the NAFF outdid yourselves this year...
There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful it was... Thank you...
Can't wait till next year...
It was an absolute blast finally being able to meet a lot of you VFB'rs,
Jimmy D., DonO (you're crazy man, your crazy <BG>, I get first dibs on your
"Bi-Polar" fly... hehehehe..), Joe, Rick, Larry, and the rest of you
guys,
it was fantastic...
As soon as I can finish off this second roll of film, (about 2 or 3 more
shots should do it), I'll get both rolls developed, scanned and set into
"JPG's" so I can send them off to Byard to hopefully have posted on the VFB
site... (That includes the "Group Photo" and pics I took of everyone
tying)... I do want to apologize to some of you because I unfortunately
didn't get your picture taken, please forgive me...
I know I was supposed to meet Charlie and Mark Sunday morning to do some
fishing with you both, but I slept through my alarm and didn't get up till
around 07:00... Then I couldn't remember what your room number was Mark,
so
I ended up going to the town of "Cotter" and fishing the river over
there... To tell you the truth, I had no idea where I was, but I did catch
quite a few nice rainbows, small, 12 to 14 inch size, but it was fun...
They were hitting a pink skud and a cream thread midge with a copper wire
ribbing... (Sorry, I'm used to catching 18 to 24 inchers ALL the time...
I
guess I'm spoiled fishing the San Juan River exclusively)...
Murf, my wife wanted me to thank you for those tubes... She stole every
single one of them from me... Says they're perfect for her beading and
polymer clay work...
Again, as soon as I get these pictures developed I'll let you all know and
then you all can get with me on who wants copies..
