Nick,
I don't know how Mark handles this, but on this 'fishing cap' I put
flies which took part in great fishing moments, and great patterns.
Right now only 3 flies are there. A CP from Tony which I used on the
White during my first stay and which took all but one fish during the
trip. A little comparadun, which was responsible for this 'but one'
fish. I caught the fish from Tonys dock. And a little nymph (I call it
Erft nymph) - this pattern counts for a lot fish on my home river.
That's it - other flies didn't make it to my cap till now.
I have a second VFB cap - the tying cap. I holds no flies, I have the 2
typers pin from the sowbug there.
Both caps are autographed by Byard.

innovation - don't know. But what changed my life concerning
lyfishing/tying:
1) My wife, who rediscovered this forgotten hobby for me
2) The List - and there is only one list... who brought me in touch to a
great group
3) Tony, who talked me into heading to AR, fish, ty and ly there. The
CP, which he tied for me is still on my VFB-fishing cap.
