for the Flex-O free samples list and had a big bag of it at Sow Bug.
Guess what. Rodney, I have a pkg. coming your way, so I'll just add it to
that.
Charlie & Jeff, send me a SASE for
samples.
Ray Gattus- didn't get a SASE from
you.
Rest of you that sent SASE's and $$, samples going
in the envelopes today and will be mailed Monday.
Flex-o tiers. Your challenge... Figure
out how to use this material to make minnows, frogs, crabs, or whatever you want
to imitate. (Hey, I had to figger it out- so can you. Part of the
fun of it. :o) )
Let's see what you come up with in two weeks.

Background: I got some smaller diameter
Flex-O samples from Rich Whitner at a FFF 9 or 10 years ago. He had a few
small minnows, a crab, and some tiny sailfish. I got with the factory and
got samples of all their sizes, and spent much time developing all of the
techniques you see on the web site, plus quite a few more.
Since then the factory lines have really expanded,
hence the colors and size range you will see.
Once we all have our best efforts complete, we'll
see if Byard will post photos on the VFB site.
