Nice site, Denny, thinks for the link.

Several years ago I was talking with my brother, a non flyfisherman who lives in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, about my trip to Arkansas to attend the Sowbug and visit my friend Tony Spezio.

"Tony Spezio?" He asked. "Does he build airplanes?"

I told him I had some vague memories about Tony mentioning his involvement with aviation, and that he had wanted to see an airplane he had helped build the last time he was in Utah. My brother told me about some email conversations he had had with a "very nice man" named Tony Spezio about home built airplanes, specifically a plane called the "Spezio Tuholer". This site proves that the two Tonys are one and the same.

I thought it was an interesting coincidence that two brothers, living on opposite sides of the continent could have independently made friends with the same man for two totally different reasons.

The next time I saw my brother I gave him a couple of Spezio "Froggies". He fished the froggies with spinning gear and a bubble on the bass pond on his property, and caught fish until they were both "chewed beyond recognition."

It's nice to have a site where I can see both the Tuholer and the Froggies (and the dashing young aviator responsible for both).

Sort of slow on here again today.
After many years of asking Tony to do something on DVD so as to instruct many of us that appreciate his instruction, his son, Robert sat the ole man down and did an exceptional job. Most of the FVBers who attended the Sowbug got to see it. Robert now has it offered on his site. I am taking the liberty to post it here for those that may want it. Even if you do not get one, check it out as the photography is Super! I have no interest other than I do feel it is one of the best I have ever seen.
