Tools:

1)  vise
2)  2 fine scissors, one straight tip, one curved tip
3)  1 craft scizzors (for cutting wire, lead, etc.)
4)  4 thread bobbins
5)  1 bodkin
6)  homemade Matarelli style whip finisher
7)  2 Thompson style hackle pliers, which I can never find beneath all the other stuff, so I end up using my fingers
8)  2 homemade bobbin threaders (which see a lot of use)
9)  2 single edge razor blades

All this plus a lot of spools of thread is in a modified wooden silverware box (garage sale special) of about 15" x 9" x 4" which folds shut.  I don't have a permanent tying station at home, so this gets set up on a table or the bed, or wherever I'm tying.  The reason  I can never find the hackle pliers is because a lot of the material I'm tying with and the wast tends to accumulate in the box and cover them up...

Look at your desk, what tools are there on the desk, right
now. Which of the the whole kit and caboodle did you use during the
last week? Which tools do you use for the fly you are tying right now?
