I am so sorry to hear this. I never met Murf but enjoyed his comments and wit on this list. My prayers are with his family and friends as I know he was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
Im sorry for posting this so late. I have been so busy with work, family problems plus heavy involvement with some other commitments that I have had no time for fly-tying. Let me take this moment also to apologize to Rick Zieger and the participants in the ant and panfish swaps. I let you all down and did not even send a message saying I couldnt complete the flies (and that after telling Rick in a separate email that I would). It was very selfish of me and Im sorry. To be honest, I have not been reading most of the VFB messages; I just happened to notice the subject of this message from Byard today. Again, I pray for his family and friends in their sorrow. I'm sure the memorial fly shadow box will help. I would join but I just don't think I can make the time even for one fly right now. Take care all, Jim Collins
