Hi, i also live in Maine and I love to fish !!!!!! And I  ty flies where do you fish in Maine ? Coffeeloss Pond  is a good trophy trout pond ! We fish Scraggly lake up by Patten and if you ever get up that way just before Patten ,  Alvin Theriault has the best fly tying shop that I've seen and great prices and he teaches flytying and has a big Mail order business ,his email address is www.theriaultflies.com ,he has a wonderful website and free catalog . I  enjoy fishing and it makes me ugly that they don't do more to promote trout fishing instead of Bass fishing ! it takes skill to catch a trout on a fly that you've tied .....  The Maple syrup fly is awesome and Alvin just patterned a scented maple syrup fly which is good for regular trout fishing and even for ice fishing . I'm headed for Upper New Hampshire ,fishing the connectiutt lakes regions at the end of June have you ever fished there before .
