Hmmmm... I really like and respect AK but to promote shooting flies with regular film these days is not the way to go. There are many many obstacles to overcome with using film, not least of all getting the colors right and dealing with the dust issue.
Digital, digital, digital...all of the top-notch photographers of flies, such as Jim Schollmeyer, have made the move. All the flies on my web site have been shot with a (now pretty dated, but going very strong still) Nikon Coolpix 995. Why not take a look?
I am at present in Slovenia on a fishing trip, and have very limited access to the Internet (snatching a couple minutes on the reception desk pc) so this note will have to be brief
