It's Walla, not Wellah, Neville.  Walla is a Gypsy word, and is a mixture of Portuguese and Basque dialects.

There are a half-dozen 'weaves' that have been around from before Torill & I

were born (Although Dr. D invented them).  Her claim to fame was in her

crochted-style tying, with extended bodies.

extended bodies.  So she crochted the tail extension and wellah! Voilà

 

I met her in Denver at the ISC show years ago (was there with Mustad).  Very

nice lady.  Had all the guys going, too, as she is pretty.  Not me, though.

But Buggs, well, he's a rabbit.
