Jim
Wow that question threw me for a loop... are you near Rhode Island? I am an
instructor for the Department of Environmental Management Fish & Wildlife
here. I'm also a fly tying instructor for UFTRI (United Fly Tyers of Rhode
Island). We're off for the summer now but we start up again in the
September.
I'm certainly not an expert on them but I can walk you through the basic
stitches and get you off to a good start. If you're not in this area there
are some wonderful tutorials on line for tying them also.
Warm Regards,
Deb

Any chance that I can take lessons from you on how to make those woven
bodies?

Steven,

Miscellanious facts about mine, now when Torill Kolbu has been mentioned: My
Rubbered Creative Pupa is in fact a version of Torill's own CDC Creative
Pupa. (I have the real one on:

Not saying it would make her proud, but still miscellanious facts. ;o)

I just got Deb Duran's Woven Parachute to complete Jimmy D's March Madness
Swap. It's  beautifully tied and the second woven fly within the set.
Torrill would be proud...

Thanks for following up on this Deb. My appreciation.
