I think that the fates have decreed that I will NOT fish in Mass. this year! In January I was up for the Marlboro Fly fishing shoe and then some ice fishing on Sunday. Temp in the 40's & 50's. No ice. Back up again this past week to stay with the grand kids while my son & daughter-in-law were away at a conference and guess what, 8" to 12" of rain. Maybe next year will be better. I won't say that they couldn't be any worse because as one of our sales reps once said when all of his jobs seemed to be going wrong "Someone told me to cheer up, things could be worse. So I cheered up and sure enough things got worse".

Well the rain just won't stop. I'm hoping Peggy and Byard are still above water. It isn't looking good for fishing Wednesday unless thing's dry out a little. This flooding appears to be worse than the floods we got in the fall. So far I'm still dry but I haven't gone down to check the basement today yet. Anybody heading up to New England better double check the roads
they're taking and bring along a life vest. :)
