I wore out the soles on my thigh waders and always had a soggy left
foot...and sometimes even right foot. I thought it was my pushing the depth
limits of my Horne's waders, but now have to test for holes and weld away.
To be fair, I do put them through hell but have no choice if I want to get
to the places others won't necessarily want to go to....anything for a
fish...and the Blackberry bushes don't help either!

If you wouldn't mind sending me(offline perhaps)the names of those brands
which tended to leak, it would be great.

Thanks again,

R

Bill,
I regret not getting a pair of Simms at a Dealer's
show I tied at about five years ago. I had just
received the first pair I bought before doing the show
and had not tried them yet. What I should of done was
get the Simms and returned the others. At the end of
the show, the price was reduced from the wholesale
price. I will never run into a deal like that again.
About the pair I had at home. They leaked the fourth
time I used them. Upgraded to the next best when I
returned them and the new leaked within the first
month.
Upgraded again and the same thing. Got a replacement
and the same thing. They not only leaked but the
material all crinkled up.I have photos of each pair
that I returned showing this. I finally got a refund
less the shipping charges I paid to and from. I have
two other fishing buddies that returned breathables
from this company because of leaks. They went to Simms
and are happy with them. If I have problems with this
pair I am using now, I guess I will pop the cork and
go to Simms. So far so good with the Bass Pro waders,
I like the attached lace up boots.
