For those looking for a leak proof waders I been using Gralite waders [EMAIL PROTECTED] 1-866-243-1249 . for over thirty years. No improvements ,made them right the first time .for more then 30 years. They are really a chemical suit company.. No retail at about $160 dollars U.S. I can only get from 12 to 14 years out of these waders .I never tried using breathable wader as I feel they are still in the experimental stage. I always fall down ,fish most of my life in very rocky and brushy areas ,use trails that only used by moose and deer. I'm not to the liking of using trails made by other fisherman..The only time I ever put a hole in my waders is from that stuff MAN makes, such as barb wire etc.I never heard or seen a seam that ever leak on these waders. This is the absolute truth .The companies would love to hear this but why each year are there is the so called improvements if there really still in the experimental..stage...?? Okay I admit Gralites are not breathable.and the brush don't rip up the material as I have seen on those breathable type. They use to have felt soles on then but the new owners are not doing that at the present. They don't absorb heat like dark color waders as I admit ,breathable are lighter in color and this helps. You can't turn then inside out for drying ,well down to the boot you can. I was staying up to George Maul shop on the Matane River in Quebec to fly fish for incoming salmon and five of us all coming from different parts of the country ,I never meet or knew any of them ,and all five of us including myself were wearing Gralites Waders. really there were no other brands around. I would like some of you to help me encourage them to put the felt soles back on the market...Remember they are a chemical suit company and the material and seams never needed any improvements for over thirty years..

I finally got a pair that don't leak. I had several
pair from a well known large company. Tried four
times, upgrading each time and finally got a refund.
Will tell company's name off list. I got this last
pair from Bass Pro. They have the attached lace up
boots with felt soles.Very easy to put them on and
off.I am on my third year with them and am very
satisfied. The boots have a lot of support and are
comfortable. No gaters needed but I still use some
velcro attach gators. I paid around 125.00.

I am looking in getting some breathables from the US
(good ones cost US$300+
here) and came across some chest/sockfoot waders
from a certain US store.

Can anyone recommend a good pair- breathable,
sockfoot, quality,reasonable
price?

Thanks in advance,
